The Fox Cities Give Back Bus took the Appleton Great Northern Cares team to Beaming Inc., a nonprofit equine-assisted therapeutic riding facility that helps individuals with special needs. The 16-member volunteer team cleaned tack, helmets, the garage, horse stall poles, pulled weeds, and even assisted with office work. Before leaving, the team participated in an awareness experience, allowing them to understand how an autistic child feels, every day.
