Transparent pay starting at $18.00/hour
Our VBoard® Crew member positions start at $18/hour and go up based on knowledge and performance. We use a pay for performance scale, which allows our team members to receive wage increases based on the initiative to learn new positions and performance within those positions. We also offer shift differential of $1.25/hour for working on 2nd or 3rd shift.
8.5-hour straight shift schedule
At Great Northern, we understand that working 12-hour shifts can be hard on you and your work-life balance, so we offer 8.5 hour shifts with paid breaks and an unpaid 30 minute lunch. We are currently hiring for 2nd and 3rd shift.
2nd shift: 1:55pm-10:00pm Monday-Friday
3rd shift: 9:55pm-6:00am Sunday-Thursday

Flexible Overtime Schedule
While our goal is to not have mandatory overtime, sometimes we require team members to work extra hours due to business needs. We have a very flexible overtime scheduling process that provides team members the opportunity to study the shifts available and sign up for overtime in advance based on the future vacancies we know about. This allows you to choose the days of overtime that will work best with your schedule. Our overtime is first come first serve, and if all spots aren’t filled, we will reach out to team members who haven’t signed up to work their required quota.
Time Off & Holidays
We prorate our vacation balances depending on date of hire. Our full vacation allotment for years 1-5 is 10 days plus 2 personal holidays and eligibility starts after 30 days of employment. Your first year, you would get a portion of the full 10 days, but when the new year starts over you receive the full vacation allotment. This is in addition to our 10 holidays a year.
