Great Northern Employees Take Third in Fundraiser for Veterans

On August 20^th, 20 Great Northern team members participated in the “Pulling for Honor” fundraiser event at the Appleton International Airport. The fundraiser raises money for future Old Glory Honor Flights, a local organization whose mission is to fly WW II veterans to Washington DC to see the memorials built in their honor. The goal was for teams to pull a 200,000-pound jet plane for 12 feet as quickly as possible. Our team completed this in 16.363 seconds, winning us third place.
