Great Northern Employees Pull 200,000 lb. Plane for Local Veterans

On a recent Saturday, 20 Appleton area Great Northern employees took part in the Pulling for Honor event held at the Appleton International Airport. The mission of the Pulling for Honor 2019 event was to fully fund one Honor Flight, enabling 100 veterans to experience an unforgettable trip to Washington D.C.  Great Northern employees came ready to help fulfill this mission!

Great Northern employees raised $3,270 and placed 5^th in the fastest 20-person team pull competition. As you will see from the video below, a lot of heart and muscle was used to get our veterans to Washington D.C. We are grateful for employees’ generosity and for showing that Great Northern Cares.
